Paintses, Pokeses, Book-Bindses 0311.31

I brought lappy to work today for music.  Music is what the class lacked. I brought all the Disney Classics into a new playlist and played it throughout my class.

Today, we painted the dino that carried the kids' favourite foods on its back.  It's actually great that i prepared samples the week before as the kids took better care in their paintings this week, and really liked the different dino bases i got them to work on.

The cousins didn't come today.  I've had thoughts of their parents running away from paying the fees that they owe for a module...or maybe they were just busy because of the xmas and new year celebrations... or they thought the centre wasn't open that day... or... orrrr.r.r.r.r.r.

only 5 kids turned up today which made the lesson more fufilling for me as i managed to impart more skills and divert more attention to them. I was happy!

this is Tahe, not in my class anymore
but might renew her module next week.

Tahe wasn't supposed to be
around... it was very noisy with
 her around actually... sometimes
the kids just wanna join in
the fun when they see their
 friends enjoying their art session.

tried my best to capture my lesson
as you can see, class is quite
empty today.

That's Zing in the centre.
She's made improvement in
communication! YAY!  She
usually nods or shakes her head only.

After lessons , i was once again given the responsibility to lock up the school, which was a WHIPPIE!!!! to me.  That meant that i could stay for as long as i liked.  I intended to paint till me and my friends met for C.U.T.S however, i got a reply only after texting Rubbit that they aren't going anymore.

I was disappointed.  TRASNAH's marketing supervisor had asked me to prepare a signage to be put up to showcase my students' works and i did so.

completed painting.

Since i had to other plans, i decided to stay.  Inspiration came for xmas gifts for my cousins and i started immediately.  I made use of the given paper- tore 'em into half then folding each into another half and them putting 3 of these together to form a booklet.  5 of them would make a small b5 notebook. i created 8 of these notebooks.

For each cover i painted using the compound paints supplied to the learning centre by TRASNAH.  For the younger female cousins, i painted a flower cover and for the boys, i did a striped one with dots that looked suspended in time.

All the painting, tearing and sorting of books took me almost 7 hours.  i ended work at 2pm and got home only at 10.45pm.  I took a break and started to poke holes for the thread binding.  Here's the finished flower notebooks.
