Scams- a work of art or what!

I came across this junk mail a minute ago and i though "oh wow, what a coincidence as i was complaining about the lack of funds".

Www.fondazionedivittorio.it contacted me about winning a million dollar donation prize. How do I find out if this is ligit. There is an actual web site but not in english. Sounds like another scam. I haven't replied yet. What do you think? Anonymous

Scam Money Transfers - Fake Grants
Example - ECOWAS - Foundazion di Vittorio

Here's a variation on the basic scam money transfer email.  The Foundazion di Vittorio supposedly supported by "ECOWAS" wants to just GIVE you money, as long as you use a part of help to develop the environment.

If it isn't obvious, we'll say it for you: this is a complete scam and fraud.  The Foundazion di Vittorio apparently does exist, but the email and the grant are all nonsense. If you believe that there are organizations randomly handing out money like this, then you probably still believe in the tooth fairy.

If you need tangible proof, ask yourself this:  why would an organization with a website

( www.fondazionedivittorio.com  ) ask you to reply to a free yahoo email address ( giovani_foundationofficer02@yahoo.it ) (which ANYONE could get)?

And if you were crazy enough to write back to them, click here to see the response they will send.

and so, ho ho ho!  I bimbotically fell for it for 3 seconds.  there goes my hopes of getting a grant of a million- washed by the rain, down the wistful1 drain!
