Recently we have received some enquires from students about scholarships. Here is one that you may be interested in. My apologies in advance if you are a international or a graduating student, our email system is still for 2006/2007 students and it does not discriminate between local and international.

The details for the bursary is as follow:
Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan Arts & Cultural Bursary 2007 is open for application.
Notes to Applicants:
1. Applicants must be Singapore citizens or permanent residents who are pursuing full time or short term arts and cultural courses locally or abroad. Each bursary will range from $1000 - $3000.
2. Applicants must be currently arts and cultural practitioners or intend to be arts and cultural practitioners upon completion of course.
3. Application must be supported by the following:
- Original letter of recommendation from the employer, dean or head of department for senior practioner in the same profession
- Duplicate copies of educational qualification certificates
- Duplicate copies of professional qualification certificates
- Duplicate copy of entry proof/student matriculation card
4. Each bursary is granted on a year to year basis. Those who wish to continue receiving the bursary for ensuing year will need to send in fresh application.
5. Deadline to hand in the form to Division of Academic Administration is by 10 June 2007. Late applications will not be entertained.
