NOTICE & Vociferate: Ranting about losses

Dearest Wanita Wanyi the OrangeGirl Wuzz,

This was what happened whilst you were worrying away at your little orchard of Orange Trees.

Orange shoes came back from a date having lost his "wallet" while a bunny and i watched youtube vids of the TBT arrest.

Depression took over as the shepherd gathered his flock consisting an array of teeny-tiny, itsy- bitsy animals on the white space before him.

We then listened to the retired police officer.....

...rant about how his bag was stolen...

... yes ranting club was in action in your absence. ( check out the hammer in his hands...)

I visited the national library this morning to do more LDV research and chanced upon these!!!! THEY ARE FINALLY OUT! My first publication! heeee !

Got one for u too. *smiles*

hope to cya soon,
peluks and chioms...
 WITCHY TOMATO.

Breaking News: Protesters arrested for World Consumer Rights Day event

Posted by theonlinecitizen on March 15, 2008

By Andrew Loh

It took less than an hour for the Singapore police to stop a protest by about 20 Singaporeans, all dressed in red t-shirts and some holding placards, outside Funan Shopping Centre this afternoon at about 2.50pm.

The protesters were marking World Consumer Rights Day, which is held all over the world. They were protesting the rising cost of living in Singapore.

Those arrested include the Singapore Democratic Party chairman Gandhi Ambalam, SDP secretary general Dr Chee Soon Juan, Chee Siok Chin, John Tan and SG Human Rights activist Chia Ti Lik.

Videos and pictures below.

Read Reuters report: “Singapore arrests opposition members over protest”.

And International Herald Tribune’s “Singapore police round up opposition party members for protest against rising prices”.

*The Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) will hold its event tomorrow. Click here and TOC’s earlier article here.

MY HP IS GOING CRAZY! turps got onto my phone last night and i attempted to clean it off using some soap and water and i guess water got into my poor keypads and into the device.  a series of 7s appear no matter what i hit on the pads.

Scoop: Fur in Fashion is not Art at all.

fuck these ruthless bastards. this made me cry five mins ago. fuck.

anyone who sees this please embed this html code to ur blog or webbie or wad. please. please.

and watch the video after u've read this para.

when undercover investigators made their way onto Chinese fur farms recently, they found that many animals are still alive and struggling desperately when workers flip them onto their backs or hang them up by their legs or tails to skin them. When workers on these farms begin to cut the skin and fur from an animal's leg, the free limbs kick and writhe. Workers stomp on the necks and heads of animals who struggle too hard to allow a clean cut. When the fur is finally peeled off over the animals' heads, their naked, bloody bodies are thrown onto a pile of those who have gone before them. Some are still alive, breathing in ragged gasps and blinking slowly. Some of the animals' hearts are still beating five to 10 minutes after they are skinned. One investigator recorded a skinned raccoon dog on the heap of carcasses who had enough strength to lift his bloodied head and stare into the camera.

Pledge to go fur-free at PETA.org

Schtick: Underground Activities

I wonder what these are for.  Clan
didn't tell Wanita anything much.
But i speculate chaos later on.

No place to dry them so
it was all over the place.
Wanita used our tub of
acrylic gel medium for this

Transportation was a pain.
We had to resort to using trays
as well as cutting mats... Here
is Wanita sorting it all out.

It was also a pain waiting for the guards
to arrive. For some reason, Mr. Blur
was unable to think on his feet and just
wait for us in studioland and stop the
guards from locking it. How dumb.

Made it to the last train after stacking
the loot neatly on the drying rack. It
was a fun activity to do today.  I love
having group activities like that.  So
nice to have friends to be there for
each other.  I appreciate it alot.

Staining LDV Research
Coffee on Printed Paper

For the old-ish effect to echo
that of LDV's scripts, i stain my
stuffs with coffee.  This is the
2nd lot in fact.

Here's part of the process.
1st Attempt

1. Redoing...
2. Drying Redone Piece
3. Not too happy with
the result but what the
hey... i spent the whole
day which wasnt intended.

Drummer Boy
Stencil

This was Yenyi's idea.
He had wanted to spray
a camera but i thought
it would be too tough to
cut out. Hence, the boy.

Meal costs vary considerably depending on one's tastes. I typically spent $1-2 for breakfast, $2-3 for lunch, and $3-5 for dinner. My most expensive meals were $12 at the first-class Ghar-e-Kabab restaurant (highly recommended for fine Indian cuisine) at Hotel de l'Annapurna. Obviously, you could save some money by avoiding such restaurants, or by spending less time in Kathmandu and Pokhara
