Devoir:Greuple Tomautosaurus

just finished with this. going to sleep now so i can go school earlier and wakey miss wanyi at 6 am.  then i'll continue with packaging designs.  need the photocopier, which i do not have right now.  this greuple tomautosaurus will be exchanged with mr cattyman with his a3 piece later in school.  the project's about juztaposition- the creation of contrasting images combined(so we'll combine both our styles into each a3 and present it on friday.  

gotta finish pyrography, 10 sketches of diff expressions of my face, the a3 piece catty's gonna pass to me, photocopy a passport sized photo of myself.............. hmmx... and collaborate with HOTPINK in a project for design  theory.  we've gotta hand in a 300 word essay on a decoded advertisement on plastic surgery, with the inclusion(is ther sure a word) of a hand drawn diagram, and open answered questions to be answered.  BOY OH BOY!

Vociferate:WHAT IS BIMBOG?!

i am happy.  was really stressed in the afternoon and my eyes hurt badly.  it's time for contact lenses to be changed.  my eyes kept tearing non stop and i just had to go without my left purple lens of 550 degrees.  then i took a rest and felt better after i got up.  but i was still stressed.  

the plastic i got from art friend sucked.  i wanted to start on my final for the packaging design deconstructed  rose water bottle on a2 board but the plastic just really sucked.  fortunately i didnt hesitate to get the tracing paper.  wished it was of a smaller gsm though.  the one i'm using seems to be a little too thick.  

mr pollock dear stayed through the night till closing whilst miss wanyi went home before evening came.  it was a rather unusual day considering these personalities' prescence and absence.

after sending miss wanyi to the bus stop i made a trip to bugis street to get food- for Pollock dude and Realistiana. At the same time i got thread for master and drinks and tit bits too for myself.  i know its kinda un-normal for me to get tit bits but sigh it was stressful and i had to eat(stupid reason rite? but that's coz u dun understand) 

anyway the night was peaceful.  pollock did his thing by the oceans and the Cs while i cleaned up the ground on land.  it was covered with the water based woodblook printing inksssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.........................................................................but i was thankful as it helped me destress and took my mind away from eating more. i packed the place as well as helped him move stuffi nto a box i got a couple of days back.  i sympathise with him and his situation- 1) his thundercloud problem 2)his nasty very un-pollock pollock which he think is really damn conceptual and related to escapism in conjunction with immanuel kunt's theoriesssssssssssssssssssss...........(yeah alot of ssssssssssss again)

it was only after nine that i settled down and started work.  pollock and f-rullllahhhhhhflagella told me off for tracing off the computer screen.  haa i got caught.  but i dun find any point in re copying my sketch.  i'd be taking a pic of it anyway, uploading it into my com anyway, and tracing it off screen anyway, which is too much of a hassel anyway.  and i know i can draw.  and i have proven myself in this area.  and i know i am quite accurate in proportional drawings.  so what i draw is almost exact to the on on screen.  so WHY NOT.

haha i am very defensive aren't i?  and i was quite right about myself.  i compared the one i traced onto tracing paper with my original sketch.  very very similar, except that the straw that was packaged outside the bottle was one cm too short.  that's the only diff.  so WHY NOT

miss wanyi and pollock dude's place look much neater and spacious now.  i am happy.  but guilty at the same time for taking up so much space, and messing everything up.  sometimes i feel that i shouldnt be there at all.  i feel guilty.  the people without a space could have used that small space i always park at.  i feel bad.  i feel bad.  i am BAD.

sigh.  

and to mr pollock.  if you ever read this,  YOU ARE A BIMBOGOBMIB AND I AM NOT A BIMBO. hehe.

i suppose that in finearts, we accpricates the hiccups in our process and the final

design leaves no room for mistakes.you can't screw up at all.

past two days i've been notti skip lecture and one class for the first time man

Lecture- Missed.

I'm feeling down. 

Something happened while i was tracing these.  I hate what i am doing.  Very uncertain what use the tracings are of.

The day started off lousy.  I missed lecture for the first time in my whole life.  I could go actually, and be like 10-15 min late, but no.  I don't like people staring at me as i try frantically to find a seat and if i don't, let them see me sit on the floor like a pathetic fool for waking up late.  I don't like to be embarassed.  

Then i got news that on the day that i didn't go lecture, there was an assignment...

I used the time to work on my colour schemes

The coloured versions looked much better than yesterday's horribly and anyhow-ly rendered interiors. 

Showed Lightning my stuff with Robert and Vampireboy and she was quite happy i think.  And i was happy she actually sorta acknowledged that i know my work and did copy down my homework.  I think i am starting to be okay with her. 

Before going off to the teachers' pod, i plucked up the courage to talk to April for an informal account of her commision work at the Woodleigh Station along the NEL. 

Yay!  Got first hand info from two respectable artists already WHOOPIE! 

Everytime i visit Wanyi's space, i meet this guy called SKY.  Looking at him makes me feel sad sometimes.  Especially yesterday.  

Was at Master's space and TheDisturbed walked past and i managed to stop her and apologized.  I felt good when she smiled back and said "it's okay"

We have the Sky trapped in a jam jar.

Dear Wanyi, 

Its a blue winter down there in studioland and it's making you sick.  Please drink loads of water and remember to eat.  Wear a mask especially if you are doing the sculpting of blue foam to prevent further nose irritation.

Since it is minus 10 degrees celcius almost everyday, please feel free to take my jacket on the chair to add on to your 2-layered jackets, as well as the multi-coloured shawl hanging on the hanger at the makeshift drying rack.  Borrow my boots if need be!  

When you are not around in the house, lock all doors and beware of Apple Slicing Maniacs like the one behind me. (p/s: she stores the poisoned apples in red bags.  Green ones are safe for eating as u can see they have been tomautogirl-tested)

And while i am away , SMILE! Especially when old time friends come to visit and sign on your guest-wall! 

And, oh, i forgot...

i was a few minutes late for lecture and everyone was settled already.  i had to take one of the front row seats and being in the front row actually helps me focus so it wasn't that bad after all.  Lecture ended off with a film made in the 80s called___________________( i can't pronounce it but its the name of an indian tribe which means literally out of place.) i loved the intro which featured organ music and the tribe chanting.  It was jam packed with visuals backed with sounds playing in the background which was oh-so-lovely.  

Wanyi wasn't at her seat when i came by.  Started to lay the "free-papeR" on her partition wall extended from the top so that it fell downwards.  Everyone wasn't around.  Painters were having a briefing over at BFG's area so i kinda had the whole place peaceful to myself.  AND I GOT TO PAINT HOT AIR BALLOONS FOR HER!!! YAYNESS! Some painters were quite curious about the compound paints from TRASNAH and i juz said they looked like wall paints i guess... hmmx...

I had started to paint the balloons before doing my assignments because i didn't wanna soil the paints for the balloons if i had painted my assignment first.  I intended to paint a brick wall for the title page of my task, which covers shades of brown- a neutral colour which could resist contamination, that's why! 

While painting a brick wall for the title page of the first task i've got this sem, guess who visited!  Mrs H came along with Wanyi which caught me by surprise!  The slender English lady who was full of grace dropped by specially to thank me for the two prints i slipped into her guestbook last month while doing gallery sitting for her!!!

Wanyi had to go for her lessons and LadyGrace sat down and chatted for a whole 20 min i guess.  Master was beside the powerpoint using her new wlappy and she joined in the conversation too.  LAdyGrace seemed fascinated with the brick wall i was painting and asked me why i was painting it and i explained it to her trying my best to phrase my sentences in proper english.  I have got to admit that i am rather intimidated by people who speak perfect english, especially if it is slang-ed.  And i really feel inferior the LadyGrace because as opposed to her, i am a rough ah-lian if u know what i am talking about.  

i know i don't belong in FA, but i need to COMPLAIN ABOUT TRESSPASSERS!  it is very annoying that people are just coming into Wanyi's house like nobodys business.  Like uninvited guests who just sit down and chat or read newspapers or stone or.... Wanyi couldn't even do her work, neither could i or Tiankong.  You see, they took up so much space that there wasn't even any space for the owner to pass through.  

Wanyi and i had to take a breather and sat at the other end of B1 where block E lift landing was, and talk.  Could it be the music? the cold? the people who owned the house? the boy? the homely-feel? ? ?? ? ? WHAT MAN!!!! WHATEVER THE REASON YOU SHOULDN'T INTRUDE JUST LIKE THAT AND TAKE THE OWNERS FOR GRANTED! IT DOESN'T MEAN THAT THEY ARE NICE SO YOU CAN JUST BARGE IN RIGHT!!!!! 

Even i couldn't concentrate.  My aim was to complete my work in a condusive environment, and if this goes on i wouln't mind going back up to C401 and be a hermit.  Poor Wanyi, when mr Seplay came by i bet he got turned off immediately at the crowd.  sigh.  sadddd caseeeeeeeee mmmmmmannnnnn

First day of school with Eve.L

i distributed the books today!! i was too excited and i couldn't contain my excitement till tomorrow so... i gave it out!  i tried not to be late today but erm, the witch's always late and this time its because i got tied up with non service trains.  its ok i will buck up tomorrow.  

I wasn't only the one who made gifts for everyone.  SpongebobLover came back from indo with MANY MANY SNACKS  n DRINKS FOR ALL OF US!!! HARDCORE SHE CARRIED ONE CARDBOARD BOX TO SCHOOL!!!! FILLED WITH THESE!!! ( and i got tricked into thinking fried banana slices were unagi slices................................. bimbo.shit.)

Tai-Tai-To-Be also gave us sweets nicely packed all the way from shanghai!!! 

The girls in class are sweet rite... unlike the ones of the other gender................

anyways i didnt join class for lunch... (i heard pastamania) coz i am only left with a dollar in my bank.  did my work at Wanyi's desk.  i am very thankful to have  friend who is willing to share her space with me even though i don't belong there.  i am very happy school's started and i am equipped with my lappy and able to do my com d work there. sometimes it gets quite hard to focus but at least i am more relaxed than before.  

UNCLE came along and i thought i could borrow the drill to station the partition with the screw... but hey why not use a hammer!!!!!!! lalila...

i have just bound them and these are the few i missed out and painted last night.  This morning i woke up late because i burnt the midnight oil again turning in only at 6am.  and, despite being late to meet wanyi, i ended up painting the spine of the books( I HAD FORGOTTEN!!! OMG!)
